Layer 02
Commercial Capability Blueprint
Design the capabilities the diagnosis says must be built—and the order in which to build them.
The question this answers
What should we build—and in what sequence?
(01) What It Is
Not a slide deck. The Blueprint designs the operating mechanisms that will carry each constrained capability: the way of working, the named ownership, the decision rights, the management cadence, the information it runs on, and the sequence in which capability can realistically be built.
(02) Outputs
- 01Target capability definition for each constrained capability
- 02Designed operating mechanisms with named ownership
- 03Decision rights, governance forums and management cadences
- 04Information and enablement requirements, including technology and AI
- 05Sequenced build plan with dependencies made explicit
- 06Defined evidence of adoption for each capability to be built
(03) Timeline
Typical duration: 4–8 weeks, depending on scope and the number of capabilities in the sequence.
(04) Capability Transfer
The Blueprint is written so the organization could execute it without us. Where we do execute it, the same document is the contract for what must be transferred.
